Where do the submission fees go? Submission fees fund future Resilient Child Media Grants
Do all category winners receive a grant? There will be only one grant winner this year. We are looking for more sponsors to fund more grants in future years. Please reach out if you are interested!
How do I apply for the grant? There will be a section on the application form if you wish to be considered for this. US citizens only for the grant.
Who is judging to pick the winners? Each year we pick a new team of children's musicians to listen and pick our winners. This year our judges are: Miss Julieann, Stephanie Leavell, Lucy Kalantari and Fyütch
Who is sponsoring this year's grant? This year's grant is sponsored by the Uhlan-Moeller Family and Music for Kiddos
When are winners announced? Winners will be announced in the Spring of 2025
What do winners receive? One winner will receive a $2,500 grant. The other winners will receive a digital Resilient Child Media Awards laurel that can be used for their promotional purposes. Is there going to be a 2nd or 3rd place? All finalists will go on a "Recommended" resource list that will be publicly available for teachers, therapists and families to use while teaching resilience and sustainability skills to children.
Is there anything else we should know? Our goal is to receive at least 250 song or category submissions- which is enough to help us fund next year's grant winner. Thank you for submitting as many songs as you can!
