Music is a motivational tool for all ages. Let me show you how to adapt it for your children, students and clients.
Workshops/Conference Presentations: We all could use more motivating tools, especially when working with children. We need them even more so when helping children with a variety of special needs. Miss Julieann:Therapeutic Songs for Kids is an album written by a board certified music therapist in order to address every developmental domain: motor/physical, cognitive, social/emotional, communication/language, and self-help. They have been tested for years by children of all needs and developmental abilities, with just the most popular songs selected for the album. All songs can be adapted to address a variety of skill levels within each song. In this workshop, Julieann Hartley, MT-BC, NTP will show parents, teachers, therapists and other professionals, how to use and adapt these songs to meet the unique needs of your children/students/clients at home, in the classroom or in your therapy practice. Whether it is learning how to use the songs to create and address IEP goals, or just activities of daily living, like bath time and brushing your teeth go smoother, this workshop will show a variety of ways motivate your kids with music.
