Music therapy is an incredibly effective tool for supporting a variety of children's developmental, social, emotional, behavioral, cognitive, speech and physical needs. In a music therapy session, non-musical goals are addressed using music therapy interventions. All children have different strengths and weaknesses and in a 1:1 music therapy setting, the music interventions can be directly adapted to help progress your child, using their strengths and interests, to achieve their goals. A session for each client is going to look different, depending on their goals. All, however, are meant to be fun, engaging and motivating.
Currently, Julieann Hartley, MT-BC, NTP is seeing all individual music therapy clients, both children and adults, at the Concord Community Music School. To inquiry about individual music sessions, click here (you will be redirected to the Concord Community Music School).
