The inspiration for RESILIENT CHILD, came while Miss Julieann was working with children in the foster care system recovering from abuse, trauma and neglect. According to Miss Julieann,
“I wanted to help end the intergenerational trauma cycles that were fueling these addiction and abuse patterns. Teaching resilience skills as young as possible helps kids withstand the long-term neurological impacts of stress and trauma, preventing them from experiencing neurological deficiencies that might lead to future chronic illness or risky behaviors.” |
